Port Aransas Days Plein Air Paint Out

Join us from September 9–14, 2024, for a creative week of painting around Port Aransas in the lead-up to Port A Days! Artists of all mediums are welcome to paint at local landmarks and historic sites; no reservations are needed (except for Lydia Ann Lighthouse).

After the parade on Saturday, September 14, don’t miss the Plein Air Paint-Off from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., where artists will compete to create a masterpiece in just two hours. Paintings will be entered into a silent auction, with a 50/50 split, and the People’s Choice winner will be announced at 5 p.m.

An Artist Market will also allow registered artists to sell their work weekly with a 60/40 split (artist/PAPHA).
