Piggy Perch Contest at Deep Sea Roundup

All boys and girls (12 or younger) get ready for the Piggy Perch Division of Deep Sea Round Up! Ages five and younger will fish at 9 a.m., and ages six to 12 will fish at 9:45 a.m. Children should meet at the Roberts Point Park Pavilion, 301 J C Barr Blvd, at least 15 minutes before fishing time. No registration is necessary; judges will register them at the weigh-in. So, tackle up and get ready for a fun day of fishing! It will be a fun and exciting day for all little anglers.

Schedule for Friday, July 12, and Saturday, July 13, 2024:

• 8 a.m.—Piggy Perch Contest begins. Anglers provide poles and bait for open fishing at any fishing hole.
• 10 a.m.—Piggy Perch Contest weigh-in at the pavilion at Roberts Point Park. Weigh-in is only for your largest and smallest perch.
• 11 a.m.—Piggy Perch Contest weigh-in closes
