Acrylic Paint Class with Greta Watkin

Take your painting skills to the next level with the Acrylic Paint Class, hosted by Greta Watkins, on January 27th from 10 AM to 1 PM at the Port A Art Center, located at 104 N Alister St. For $60, this class is perfect for beginner to intermediate painters. You’ll learn how to paint with a limited palette, use various brushstrokes and mark-making techniques, and understand the basics of composition. The class will provide helpful tips for working with acrylics, including how to manage drying times. An 11×14 canvas will be provided, and some assistance will be offered, such as a pattern to trace or a photo. Bring a friend and a snack, and share the fun—don’t miss out!

  • Phthalo Blue
  • Optional: Quinacridone Magenta (suggested brand: Liquitex Basics or other Liquitex or Golden tube paints)
