The 89th Deep Sea Roundup will be held July 10-13, 2025. Registration information will be available on the website. The Deep Sea Roundup, the oldest fishing tournament on the Texas coast, is sponsored by Port Aransas Boatmen Inc. – an organization with an equally long and illustrious history. For more than nine decades, members of the Boatmen have served as town mayors and city councilmen, guided governors, dignitaries,  and a president on fishing trips, supported many community activities with manpower and funding, and helped Port Aransas gain and maintain its identity as a world-class fishing community.

Visit the Patton Center for Marine Science Education (855 East Cotter Ave.) every Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. for a story about animals. Stories are chosen and read by local volunteer, Linda. After the story, Linda will give out a short craft to take home and complete. This is a free event and is open to visitors of all ages.   WHERE: 855 E.
