Join us on May 18th from 3 pm to 5 pm at Port A Community Park (700 Clark Parkway) for a family-friendly walk or run, where you'll be splashed with shimmering, colorful powder along the way. Gear up for the Beach to Bay Relay Marathon on May 18th! Run in a team or go solo, as we honor our men and women in the military with the Run for a Hero-Beach to Bay program. Since 1976, runners from all over the globe have gathered in Corpus Christi, Texas, making this event a cherished tradition. Covering approximately 26.2 miles along the Gulf Coast beach, pavement, and JFK Causeway, this six-leg marathon promises a mix of challenge and camaraderie. Join us as we celebrate Armed Forces Day with pride and gratitude for our military heroes.

Port A is bringing back the Beach Dash beach race!

The Youth Development Foundation of Port Aransas is a 501C3 non profit corporation dedicated to supporting youth programs and scholarships here in Port Aransas.

On Saturday, May 25, 2024 (Memorial Day weekend), we are hosting a 5K run on the beach at Horace Caldwell Pier.

• 8AM race start Saturday, May 25th, Horace Caldwell Pier (Beach Street @ the beach, Port Aransas).
• Packet pickup either Friday, May 24th 4-8pm at Mark Grosse Real Estate office located at 155 W. Cotter, Port Aransas, TX, or on race day, Saturday, May 25th at race location - Horace Caldwell Pier (Beach Street @ the beach).
• Late registration at Packet Pickup Friday, May 24th 4-8pm at Mark Grosse Real Estate, or day-of-registration begins at 6:45 AM at the Horace Caldwell Pier.
• Registration fee - $55, Day-of Registration - $65.
• Register by May 4, 2024 to guarantee you get an event t-shirt.
• This event is chip timed and age group awards will be presented to the top three males and females in the following age categories: 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+.
