You’ll take the free ferry  over to Aransas Pass, which will add some excitement to the excursion. To make the trip even more fun, stop by Coffee Waves  on your way out of Port A and enjoy a coffee, tea, or gelato on your 30-minute trip across the channel. If you don’t want to use the ferry, you can also check out Century 16 in Corpus Christi.

Visit the Port Aransas Art Center

The Port Aransas Art Center  is a fun and easy way to pass some time on a rainy afternoon. The center was started 25 years ago by a group of artists who wanted to collaborate and share their art. Now, a full gallery is available to the public as well as classes and events. Get Creative at Fire it Ceramics
Tap into your inner artist and head the Fire it Ceramics , where you’ll be able to choose from a wide range of ceramics inventory and make the piece your very own! You’ll go to work painting anything from decorative pieces like animal or succulent figurines to functional ceramics like coffee mugs or planters. Enjoy Potters on Cotter
If you’re not in the mood to get your hands dirty but want to see a true artist at work, stop by Potters on Cotter  for a taste of local talent. Potters on Cotter is a small working gallery with wheel thrown stoneware, unique jewelry and a large selection of photo cards. You’ll be greeted by the warm smile of the owner, Brenda Barnett, and get to see her creating various masterpieces. Potters on Cotter is a great choice if you’re in the mood for a good story, a treasure trove of unique shopping, and a fun hole in the wall vibe!
