Port Aransas, TX – The Port Aransas Farmers Market is coming to the island for one day only Sunday, November 10, 2024, at the Fred Rhodes Memorial Pavilion at Dennis Dryer Municipal Harbor. This vibrant event will celebrate local agriculture, artisanal goods, and the spirit of community, inviting residents and visitors alike to come together for a day of fun, food, and festivity.
Join us from 10AM to 2PM for a delightful experience featuring a diverse array of local vendors. Attendees can browse fresh produce, sustainably raised meat, homemade jams, artisanal breads, handmade crafts, and much more. This event not only supports our local farmers and artisans but also promotes healthy eating and regenerative practices within our community.
The Farmers Market follows the second CATCH week (Coordinated Approach to Child Health) at Port Aransas ISD, which focuses on providing curriculum and programs aimed at whole child wellness (CATCH.org). The one-day event is a perfect opportunity for families to spend quality time together while supporting the local economy.
In addition to the market, visitors can enjoy live music, a fall themed photo backdrop great for taking holiday photos, and activities for children. Free parking is available throughout the municipal park, with additional options throughout Port Aransas. The first 300 attendees will receive a FREE reusable bag generously donated to the Port Aransas Farmers Market by Natural Grocers, a natural and organic grocery store in Corpus Christi.
