This week’s fishing report from the docks of Deep Sea Headquarters, Port Aransas:
Our 8 hour trips aboard the Gulf Eagle with Capt Andy Eccelston brought in nice catches of North Atlantic Sharpnose Shark, and a Black Tip Shark weighing in at 150 lbs.
Our 12 hour trips have been bringing in Amberjacks, Vermillion Snapper and King Mackreal.
2-15-15 our 24 hour Tuna Trip aboard the Pelican with Capt Clint CLark and Capt Tom Buckner hauled in a great variety of fish to the dock with a limit of Amberjack, Blackfin Tuna, King Mackreal, Grouper, and a Mako Shark weighing in at 250 lbs.
The Bay trip had a nice catches of Whiting.

Our 8 hour trips aboard the Pelcian with Capt Clint Clark brought in nice catches of North Atlantic Sharpnose Shark, Vermillion Snapper, King Mackreal, African Pompano, Amber Jack, Lane Snapper and a Black Tip Shark weighing in at 150 lbs.
Our 8 hour trip on the Kingfisher with Capt Marvin Horner had a Sharky kind of day bringing to the dock with North Atlantic Sharpnose Shark, Vermillion Snapper, Lane Snapper, Porges, a Big Eyed Snapper and Chris English from Victoria shows off his Spinner Shark weighing in at 110lbs.
Our 12 hour trips have been bringing in Amberjacks, Vermillion Snapper and King Mackreal with the largest Amberjack weighing in at 52 lbs.
2-15-15 our 24 hour Tuna Trip aboard the Gulf Eagle with Capt Andy Eccelston and Capt Nate Forbes hauled in a great variety of fish to the dock with a limit of Amberjack, Blackfin Tuna, King Mackreal, Lings, Grouper, Rainbow Runners, Bar Jacks and a Spinner Shark weighing in at 110 lbs.
A father/Son Duo on the 24 hour trip, Charles Rupp – Iowa and Eugene Rupp – Nebraska, 20 lb King Mackreal, 32 lb Amberjack and a 110 lb Spinner Shark.
The Bay trip had a nice catches of Whiting.

Chris Creemen from Port Aransas hauled in a really nice Amber Jack weighing in at 75 lbs Aboard the Kingfisher 12 hr with Capt Marvin Horner.

2-7-15 24 Hr Tuna Trip aboard the Pelcian with Capt Clint Clark and Capt Tom Buckner limited out on Amber Jack, hauled in a nice catch of Black Fin Tuna, Vermillion Snapper and King Fish.
2-6-15 and 2-8-15 Both 8 Hr Trips on the Kingfisher with Capt Marvin Horner brought back a nice catch of Atlantic Sharpnose Shark, King Fish, Vermillion Snapper and a Red Drum.
This Weeks Bay Trip aboard the Gulf Eagle with Capt Andy Ecceggston brought back a nice catch of Whiting.

1-25-15 24 Hr Tuna Trip aboard the Gulf Eagle with Capt Andy Eccelston and Capt Jonathan Zaludek limited out on Amber Jack, 77 Black Fin, 2 Ling, 2 Jack Crevalle and a Baracuda.
1-26-15 24 Hr Tuna Trip on the Pelican with Capt Clint Clark and Capt Tom Buckner
Dale Abbott with his Winter Texans Friends and 3 locals hauled in a nice catch with 24 Amber Jack, 120 Black Fin Tuna with Chuck Demoss from Fulton landed a 60 lb Warsaw Grouper.
1-28-15 12 Hr on the Pelican with Capt Clint Clark brought back some nice Amber Jack, Vermillion Snapper, Almaco Jack. Ron Summers from Salom Oregon hauled in a 61 lb Amber Jack.
2-1-15 24 Hr Tuna Trip aboard the Pelican with Capt Clint Clark and Capt Tom Buckner
Ray Nino and Friends from San Antonio, Texas landed a nice catch of Black Fin Tuna, Amber Jack, Vermillion Snapper, Baracuda, 2 Warsaw Groupers and a Maco Shark.
Roy Sanches caught a 45 lb Warsaw Grouper, Trent Sancez and Ray Nino hauled in a 72 lb Warsaw Grouper while Robert Managanag landed a nice 126 lb Maco Shark.
The Bay trip had a nice catches of Whiting.

24 Hr Tuna trips have been bringing back extremely nice catches to the dock.
1-20-15 Warren Roberson and 7 Friends from San Antonio went on a 24 hr tuna trip brought back an awesome catch with a limit of Amber Jack the largerst AJ weighed in at 34 lbs caught by Jerry Pantoja, 62 lb Warsaw Grouper, Atlantic Sharpnose Sharks, Vermillion Snapper and 110 Blackfin Tuna with Capt Andy Ecceslton and Capt Jonathan Zaludek aboard the Gulf Eagle.

1-21-15 Lolita Haines and Winter Texan friends had another amazing catch on a 24 hr tuna trip with 6 Amber Jack and 172 Blackfin Tuna with Capt Clint Clark and Capt Tom Buckner aboard the Pelican.Larry Pembleton, Gary Marrong, Dick Valentine, Carl Taylor, Lolita Haines, William Wernrow, Jim Hargrove, Steve Grohs, Bob Shotts, Gary King and Ron Single.
The Bay trips have been alittle rough this week due to extremely cold water tempatures.

Our 8 hour trip this week caught Kingfish, North Atlantic Sharpnose Shark.
With the weather turning nice, the Pelican and the Gulf Eagle returned from a 24 hr Tuna Trip with nice catches of Amber Jack and Black Fin Tuna.
Pat Wilbricht and friends from San Antonio, Texas returned with a limit of Amber Jack, 111 Black Fin and 3 Atlantic Sharpnose Shark.
Domingo Arredondo, Colleen and Ron Daughterty, Pat Wilbricht, Shadd Soper – Kansas, James Deroulac – Houston, Lawrence Gill Jr., George A. Arredondo, Lawrence Gill, Ramon Garza Jr., Jose Gonzalez & George D. Arredondo aboard the Pelican with Capt Clint Clark and Capt Tom Buckner.
The anglers fished aboard the Gulf Eagle return back to the dock early with boxes full, 6 Amber Jack and 150 Black Fin.

Bay fishing has been a little tough with the fronts that have come in and the water temp being so cold, a few whiting have been caught.
Private Bay Guides have had a rough go at it as well with the water temp so cold. They have been bringing in a few black drum and flounder.

THE AFRICAN POMPANO ANGLERS aboard the Pelican with Capt. Clint Clark caught a nice catch of African Pompano’s average weight at 41 lbs, Ling, Vermillion Snapper, Scamp Groupers and a limit of Amber Jack.

Our Floater Yellowfin Tuna Trip had an amazing catch and returns early on 12-21-14 when they limited out on Yellowfin averaging 80-90 lbs, 40 Blackfin and 3 Barracudas. Alyssa Kool from Plano, Texas the only female on the boat hauled in the largest Yellowfin weighing in at 90 lbs, with Capt Clint Clark and Capt Andy Eccleston aboard the Pelican. Our 8 hour trip this week caught Kingfish, North Atlantic Sharpnose Shark.
Had 2 Floater Yellowfin Tuna Trips over the weekend both had nice catches.
Our Floater Yellowfin Tuna Trip on 12-13-14 brought in nice Yellowfin Tunas averaging 80#’s apiece, Blackfin Tuna and Baracudas. Clayton Henson and friends (Tuna Slayers) from San Antonio, Texas took their turn in hauling in a 137 lb Yellowfin with Capt Andy and Capt Jim aboard the Gulf Eagle.
12-14-14 Another Yellowfin Tuna Trip brought in 20 nice Yellowfin averaging 75 – 85#’s. Gregg Bothwell and friends from Lubbock, Texas caught their largest Yellowfin at 125 lb and 100 blackfin, with Capt Clint and Capt Reid aboard the Pelican
The Bay trip had a nice catches of Gafftop and Whiting.

Our Floater Yellowfin Tuna Trip that returned 12-7-14, brought in a nice catch of Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Bull Dorados, Baracudas and Amaco Jack. Rick Laros from Port A, had a nice 86 lb Yellowfin and Frank Valdes from Eagle Pass, Texas, hauled in the largest Yellowfin weighing in at 96 lb. They fished with Capt Clint and Capt Andy aboard the Pelican.
The Bay trips had nice catches of Gafftop and Whiting.
