Take a look in 3D…and no, we aren’t talking about the latest IMAX movie! The Sandpiper Condominiums is proud to announce our updated use of 3D Virtual Tours for our online reservation system! These 3D scans take checking out pictures of our Port Aransas vacation rentals to a much more interactive and  “live” experience. When checking out these 3D scans you are able to explore the contents of the particular condo just as if you yourself were walking through the condo. The first unit to featue on of these tours is Sandpiper Unit 602.

The 3D scans are comprised of HDR photography and 3D infrared scans. These things together can make  chairs pop out of the pictures, showing you the angles of the floor plans and justifying the spaciousness our condos have to offer. These new scans are the coolest thing on the market now and we hope that they help you choose your destination condo  more accurately to what you are looking for as well as  displaying  our lavish Port Aransas rental condos to the level that they deserve.

Some of the greatest objectives that these scans use is the display of style all of our condos possess through this new technology. The difference between a flat 2d picture and what these 3d scans have to offer is the first hand experience of how luxurious our condos can be from all angles. These new virtual tours allow you  to experience the fine qualities of our condos without even stepping foot in one!   Explore the units from your device as if you were actually in them.

5-15-15  8 Hr. aboard the Pelican with Capt Clint Clark caught Amberjack and Vermillion Snapper.  George Villarreal and Shelly Dawson from Dallas show off their catch.
5-20-15  12 Hr. aboard the Pelican with Capt Clint Clark hauled in a nice catch of Vermillion Snapper, King Mackeral, Ling, Dog Snapper, Tile Fish and Scamp Grouper.  Rick Larros – Port A, James Corona, Matt Blow, Dean Garcia and Maher Metwally all from San Antonio, Eddie & Larry Teran – Dallas, Richard Cornelison – Port A, Rachel and Chris Wirth – Austin.

5-21-15  8 Hr. aborad the Iced Down with Capt Andy Eggelston. The Bilbo family hauled in a very nice catch of Amberjack, King Mackeral and Dog Snapper. Allan, Bradley, Amanda, Brice Bilbo from Dallas and Joe Blo Bilbo from Wales.
Bradley and Brice hauled in the 60# Amberjack while Amanda caught the 38# King Mackeral.
5-23-15  5 Hr. aboard the Gulf Eagle had a nice catch of Atlantic Sharpnose Shark and a Jack Crevalle.  Terrance Herrera from Waco caught his limit of Shark on his first trip off-shore.
5-23-15  8 Hr. aborad the Kingfisher with Capt Marvin Horner had a Special Red Snapper Trip limited out on the Red Snapper.
Private Bay Guides have been bring in a limit of Red/Black Drum and Trout.
Bay trips have had nice catches of Gafftops and Whiting.

Our 8 hour trip this week caught Kingfish, Spanish Mackerel, Ling, North Atlantic Sharpnose  Shark, and Dorado.
Our Floater Yellowfin Tuna Trip brought in nice Yellowfin Tuna’s averaging 80#’s a piece, Blackfin Tuna, Dorado, and Rainbow Runners.
The Bay trip had a nice catches of Gafftop and Whiting.

Our 8 hour trip this week caught Kingfish, North Atlantic Sharpnose Shark, Jack Crevalle, 200 #  Black Tip Shark.

12 hr trips brought in nice Amber Jack, King Mackeral and Baracuda.

4-19-15 The 24 hr Trip aboard the Gulf Eagle with Capt Kevin Haller and Capt James Wheeler despite the strong storm that went through Port Aransas Saturday evening they were able to haul in a nice catch of Amber Jack, Black Fin Tuna, Vermillion Snapper, Ling, Baracuda, Atlantic Sharpnose Shark and Rainbow Runners.  Largest Amber Jack weighing in at 55#, caught by Sergio Michel from Johnson City, Texas.

The Gafftops are back and biting.

3-29-15 24 Hour Tuna Trip aborad the Gulf Eagle had a nice catch of Vermillion Snapper, Black Fin Tuna, Amber Jack and Baracudas.  Ralph Dixon from Rockport hauled in this Monster Maco weighing in at a whopping 400 lb

8 hour offshore trips have been bring in Atlantic Sharpnose Shark, Vermillion Snapper.

12 hour trips offshore hauled in nice catches of Amber jack, Vermillion Snapper and Atlantic Sharpnose Shark.

Bay Trips have had nice catches of Gafftop and Whiting.

24 Hr Tuna Trip aboard the Gulf Eagle with Capt Kevin Haller and Capt Dan Hilburn.  Mark Garcia and Friends from San Antonio, Texas it’s “HAMMER TIME” hauling in a nice catch Black Fin Tuna, Ling, Amber Jack, Baracuda and a 200 lb Hammer Head Shark.   It took 6 men to haul this nice hammer head in, Greg Sanchez, Angel Avilez, Raul Munguia, Raymundo Leyva, Damien Cardenas and Mark Garcia.

24 Hr Tuna Trip aboard the Pelican with Capt Clint Clark and Capt Tom Buckner.  Lolita Haines from Arkansas and Winter Texan Friends bring back a nice catch of Black Fin Tuna, Amber Jack, Vermillion Snapper, Ling, Baracuda and a 150 lb Spinner Shark.  Lolita stands next to her 60 lb. Amber Jack.

12 Hr have had a nice catch of Grouper, Vermillion Snapper and Atlantic Sharp Nose Shark.

3-15-15 24 Hr Tuna Trip aboard the Pelican with Capt Clit Clark and Capt John Zaludek hauled in a nice catch of Black Fin Tuna and limited out on Amber Jack with the largest weighing in at a whooping 60 lb, caught by Dillon Terrell from Boerne, Texas.

12 Hr Trips have been bringing in Atlantic Sharpnose and Vermillion Snapper.
